Relief Chef for High-End Hotels & Gastro Pubs

About the role

Jubilee Hospitality is seeking experienced chefs for short‑term, agency‑based assignments across high‑end hotels, gastro pubs and fresh‑food venues in Birmingham and the wider Midlands. The role is ideal for Chef de Partie, Sous Chef or Head Chef looking for flexible, on‑site work supporting busy kitchen brigades.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook fresh, seasonal dishes to a high standard.
• Support established kitchen teams during peak service periods.
• Maintain food quality, hygiene and safety standards throughout the shift.
• Run a designated section independently without supervision.

Required profile

• Recent professional experience as a Chef de Partie, Sous Chef or Head Chef.
• Background in fresh‑food restaurants, gastro pubs, hotels or reputable events.
• Reliable personal transport or ability to travel to venues across the Midlands.

Required skills

• Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred).
