Remote Residential Conveyancer

About the role

We are partnering with a modern mid‑sized property law firm in central London that is expanding its residential conveyancing team for Autumn 2026. The successful candidate will work remotely or in a hybrid model (one day per week in the office) and will be responsible for a personal caseload of 70‑100 residential conveyancing files.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end residential conveyancing transactions, including sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties.
• Handle transfer of equity and remortgage matters.
• Collaborate daily with an assigned paralegal to ensure efficient case progression.
• Maintain compliance with relevant legislation such as the Building Safety Act.
• Provide high‑quality legal advice to a national client base, with a focus on London‑area transactions.

Required profile

• UK‑qualified residential conveyancing professional (Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive).
• Minimum of 2 years post‑qualification experience (2 PQE).
• Ability to work independently while delivering a high volume of transactions.
• Preferential knowledge of leasehold law and the Building Safety Act.
