About the role

Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a Residential Litigation Solicitor to join its specialist residential property disputes team in Manchester. The successful candidate will work on high‑profile leasehold and building‑safety matters for a diverse client base across the private, public and social housing sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on residential leasehold management disputes, service‑charge disputes and enfranchisement claims.
• Handle Right to Manage matters, forfeiture and possession proceedings, and building‑safety remediation issues.
• Manage residential landlord‑tenant, estate‑management, rights‑of‑way, restrictive‑covenant and adverse‑possession disputes.
• Supervise junior lawyers and support their development.
• Develop and maintain client relationships across the North West market.
• Contribute to business‑development initiatives and firm growth.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
• Minimum 1 year post‑qualification experience (PQE) in property litigation.
• Strong background in residential leasehold management matters.
• Experience advising on enfranchisement and Right to Manage claims.
• Excellent technical and drafting abilities.
• Proven experience supervising junior lawyers.
• Commercially minded with strong client‑relationship skills.
• Interest in business development and networking.
