Restructuring Advisory Manager

About the role

As a Manager in FRP Group’s Restructuring team, you will lead high‑impact restructuring, turnaround and insolvency engagements for stressed businesses across a range of sectors. You will shape strategic outcomes, advise senior stakeholders and contribute to the firm’s growth through strong client relationships and market insight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a portfolio of restructuring and insolvency assignments, including administrations, pre‑packs, liquidations and CVAs.
• Deliver strategic advice and practical solutions to under‑performing or distressed businesses.
• Negotiate commercial terms and sale documentation for corporate transactions.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis, cash‑flow forecasting and recovery planning.
• Engage with banks, investors, legal advisors and other stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Degree‑educated with CII / CPI qualification; ACA / ACCA or equivalent advantageous.
• Extensive experience in restructuring, turnaround and insolvency within a professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK insolvency legislation and restructuring frameworks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross‑functional teams.

• Insolvency case‑management systems (e.g., IPS).
