Sales Engineer – North (Plastics Automation)

About the role

ASC Connections Ltd is looking for a motivated Sales Engineer to cover the North of the UK and Ireland. You will combine technical expertise in injection moulding with a consultative sales approach to help manufacturers improve productivity through automation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the assigned territory.
• Visit customer sites to understand requirements and propose tailored automation solutions.
• Manage the sales cycle from enquiry to quotation, negotiation, order processing and project hand‑over.
• Provide technical advice and support to maximise equipment efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing, lapsed and prospective customers.

Required profile

• Strong technical understanding of injection moulding processes, machinery and robotics.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills at all organisational levels.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive, self‑motivated attitude.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK.
• Ambition to build a long‑term career in technical sales.
