Sales Executive – Automotive Aftermarket

About the role

3M is seeking a Sales Executive for its Automotive Aftermarket division in the UK. You will work across Essex, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk, promoting a full portfolio of products to key end‑user accounts and distributors.

Key responsibilities

• Sell and demonstrate the complete range of automotive aftermarket products to meet sales targets.
• Develop deep product, process and industry knowledge while building strong relationships with key end‑user accounts.
• Collaborate with distributor sales and technical teams to grow business.
• Maintain daily updates in Salesforce for all visits, events and activities.
• Manage an opportunity pipeline and sales plan to exceed targets.
• Leverage internal resources to maximise impact within customer sites.
• Train internal and external distributor salespeople on product applications.
• Attend industry events and exhibitions to represent 3M.

Required profile

• Performance‑oriented with a strong drive for success.
• Proven sales and industry experience, preferably in automotive aftermarket.
• Excellent customer‑facing and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, resilient team player with strong communication skills.
• Honest, ethical and professional in all interactions.
