Secondary Maths Teacher

About the role

Join a dynamic secondary school in the Wyre & Fylde area as a full‑time Maths Teacher. You will deliver engaging lessons to KS3 and KS4 pupils, inspire a love of mathematics, and help students achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality Maths lessons for KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable).
• Maintain rigorous classroom standards and manage behaviour in line with school policy.
• Assess, record and report on student progress and attainment.
• Contribute to departmental meetings, parents’ evenings and whole‑school training events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practice.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Recent experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability, commitment and a passion for student learning.
• Punctual, patient and confident when working with children.
