About the role
The school is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support secondary‑age pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Working primarily in Camden, you will help students improve their academic performance across key subjects while fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for students with SEMH needs.
- Develop and implement strategies to help students manage emotions and behaviour.
- Assist students in preparing for upcoming exams and assessments.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create an inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Monitor progress and adjust support plans as required.
Required profile
- Experience working with secondary pupils in mainstream or special schools.
- Graduate or tuition background.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Patience, resilience and a positive attitude.
- Commitment to equality and inclusion.
