Senior Accountant

About the role

Our global SaaS client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join the Finance team for a 3‑month contract. You will provide strategic financial leadership, ensuring accurate month‑end close, statutory reporting and compliance across the entity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full oversight of entity month‑end close activities and reporting.
• Collaborate with the US GAAP shared services centre and FITG to ensure timely, accurate close.
• Review month‑end work of team members and produce analytical P&L and balance‑sheet commentary.
• Research and draft technical accounting position papers on US GAAP, IFRS and local GAAP issues.
• Prepare statutory bridge reconciliations and annual financial statements.
• Own the transfer‑pricing process and coordinate with Corporate Tax.
• Drive completion and filing of indirect tax/VAT returns.
• Manage statutory compliance filings, legal entity structuring and support FCA/AML requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Qualified accountant (CA, ACA, CPA or equivalent).
• Strong technical expertise in US GAAP, IFRS and local GAAP.
• Proven ability to produce high‑quality statutory financial statements.
