About the role

We are seeking a professional and adaptable Senior Administrator/Personal Assistant to support a Partner within a St. James’s Place Principal Partner Practice in Bristol. The role combines high‑level personal assistance with general administration and client‑servicing duties in a small family‑run practice.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage incoming communications – post, emails, calls and queries – in a professional manner.
  • Oversee client servicing and advice processes, ensuring scheduled reviews and timely delivery of services.
  • Maintain the Partner’s diary, arrange client meetings and reviews.
  • Record meeting minutes and keep CRM data up‑to‑date to meet compliance requirements.
  • Support the paraplanning team by gathering and collating client information.
  • Provide high‑level service to clients, responding to queries promptly and handling ad‑hoc issues.

Required profile

  • Several years of experience in Financial Services, preferably within a St. James’s Place Partner Practice.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client‑focused mindset.
  • Strong ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and reprioritise tasks.
  • High level of numeracy, literacy and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Assertive and confident telephone manner.

Required skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems.

  • Competitive salary up to £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
