Senior AWS Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior AWS Site Reliability Engineer to join our team in London. You will be responsible for ensuring the availability and performance of our production environment, building tools to automate infrastructure management, and driving reliability across our cloud‑native services.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret system and application metrics to fine‑tune performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with developers to improve service quality through testing and structured release practices.
• Participate in architectural discussions, manage platform operations and contribute to capacity forecasting.
• Design and implement automated solutions for resilient, scalable systems.
• Provide operational support and technical oversight for large‑scale distributed applications.
• Develop and maintain tooling for platform infrastructure and key applications.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of hands‑on experience in systems engineering, automation and service reliability.
• Strong background in managing large‑scale Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience with core AWS services such as EC2, ECS, Lambda and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, Java or C#) and scripting (Bash or PowerShell).
• Ability to work independently and contribute to cross‑functional teams.
