Senior BI Developer / Analyst – Contract (Home)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior BI Developer / Analyst to join a leading Midlands client on a contract basis, working from home. You will play a pivotal role in delivering Business Intelligence and Management Information solutions, supporting the company’s digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business teams and stakeholders to understand reporting needs.
• Design, develop and maintain BI solutions, including data models, ETL processes and dashboards.
• Create and optimise PowerBI reports and visualisations using DAX and calculation groups.
• Develop SQL scripts, stored procedures and data models in Azure environments.
• Support the migration to Microsoft Fabric and implement cutting‑edge data solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and building end‑to‑end BI solutions.
• Strong background in SQL development and data modelling.
• Hands‑on experience with PowerBI, including DAX and dashboard creation.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and Microsoft Fabric (desirable).
