Senior Building Surveyor

About the role

Join the dynamic Kier Design team as a Senior Building Surveyor, working across Nottingham, Speke, Cambridge, Gerrards Cross or Lincoln with remote flexibility. You will deliver expert surveying services for public and private clients, travelling to sites and client meetings throughout the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed building surveys and prepare comprehensive condition reports with practical recommendations.
• Provide expert guidance on building regulations, sustainability options, and compliance requirements.
• Manage projects from inception to completion, including budget control and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create innovative, client‑focused solutions.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to business development and client relationships.

Required profile

• MRICS qualification with relevant building surveying experience across diverse sectors.
• Excellent project management skills with experience in JCT/NEC contracts.
• Passion for delivering quality, sustainable solutions and exceeding client expectations.
• Strong organisational and detail‑oriented abilities, able to balance multiple priorities.
