Senior Business Analyst – Cost Optimization Initiative

About the role

Save the Children International is launching a Cost Optimisation Initiative to improve sustainability and maximise resources for children. The Senior Business Analyst will lead enterprise‑wide analysis and design of cost‑reduction and efficiency opportunities across global functions and country offices.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct end‑to‑end business analysis and operational diagnostics to uncover structural inefficiencies and duplication.
• Design current‑state and future‑state processes using BPMN and lean principles.
• Develop high‑quality requirements and transformation designs for finance, supply chain, HR, awards, operations, shared services and enterprise systems.
• Shape future operating models, identify strategic efficiency opportunities and support executive decision‑making.
• Facilitate implementation of sustainable cost‑reduction initiatives across the organisation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in enterprise transformation, organisational redesign and finance operations.
• Proven ability to work in highly matrixed, global environments and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with expertise in process optimisation and operational diagnostics.
• Excellent communication skills to translate business priorities into actionable initiatives.
