Senior Casualty & Liability Claims Handler (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Casualty & Liability Claims Handler to join our Liability team in Manchester on a hybrid basis. You will apply your technical knowledge to investigate and manage employer and public liability claims, ensuring compliance with client standards and delivering exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate liability claims for employers and public liability.
• Assess legal and policy liability, quantify exposures, and recommend settlements.
• Gather and analyse evidence to support claim decisions.
• Prepare clear reports and communicate findings to clients.
• Ensure all actions comply with client requirements and service standards.
• Provide high‑quality customer service throughout the claim lifecycle.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in casualty or liability claims handling.
• Strong understanding of employer and public liability insurance.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
