Senior Client Policy Analyst, Governance

About the role

Join Broadridge’s specialised research team at the intersection of investor and issuer corporate governance. As a Senior Client Policy Analyst you will manage the full proxy‑voting lifecycle, from policy implementation to reporting, helping both internal stakeholders and external clients navigate governance trends.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure client voting policies are accurately implemented and executed.
• Update, maintain and enhance voting policies for institutional clients.
• Assist team members with policy application and development.
• Analyse issuer filings, proxy statements and other disclosures to assess corporate governance practices.
• Use analytical tools and models to identify patterns in proxy voting activity and deliver quantitative and qualitative insights.
• Support internal teams and external clients by responding to voting, reporting and governance insight needs.
• Contribute to additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in governance research, proxy voting or a related area.
• European language skills preferred.
• Familiarity with global issuer corporate governance research.
• Strong analytical, research and critical‑thinking capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• High attention to detail with strong organisational and project‑management abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively while managing multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience working with databases and structured data.
