Senior Commercial Property Associate (5+ PQE)

About the role

The firm is a well‑recognised regional law practice expanding its Commercial Property team. It is looking for a Senior Associate with at least five years post‑qualification experience to advise a varied client base that includes developers, investors, lenders and corporate occupiers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead acquisitions and disposals for commercial property portfolios.
• Manage development projects from planning through completion.
• Provide landlord and tenant advice on leases and related matters.
• Negotiate and structure investment transactions.
• Oversee asset‑management issues for client holdings.
• Supervise junior lawyers and contribute to business‑development initiatives.

Required profile

• 5+ years PQE in Commercial Property law.
• Strong technical ability and commercial awareness.
• Proven experience managing a caseload with minimal supervision.
• Interest in mentoring junior team members.
• Ambition to take a visible, influential role within a growing team.

Required skills

• Expertise in commercial property acquisitions and disposals.
• Experience with development project legal work.
• Knowledge of landlord‑tenant law.
• Ability to structure and negotiate investment transactions.
