Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to lead end‑to‑end data engineering delivery on modern cloud platforms. You will own the design, implementation and optimisation of greenfield data projects while working remotely across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Design data solutions from source systems.
• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines.
• Develop transformations and data models.
• Orchestrate workflows and deploy environments.
• Manage ongoing optimisation and performance improvements.
• Engage directly with stakeholders and clients to ensure clear communication.

Required profile

• Strong experience in advanced Python and SQL development.
• Proven track record delivering end‑to‑end data engineering projects.
• Ability to build scalable cloud‑based data solutions.
• Self‑motivated, taking ownership of delivery.
• Excellent client‑facing communication skills.
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools.
