Senior HR Generalist

About the role

TaskUs is seeking a Senior HR Generalist to join its Manchester team. The role will support employee relations, policy compliance and special HR projects, ensuring a high‑quality employee experience in a fast‑growing, people‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to employee and manager inquiries on HR legal matters and provide guidance.
• Develop, review and update company policies to maintain compliance with UK employment legislation.
• Collaborate with the legal team on HR‑related legal issues and ongoing projects.
• Collect and analyse HR data to recommend solutions that improve performance and experience.
• Lead special projects, set timelines, coordinate stakeholders and deliver results.
• Prepare reports by gathering, analysing and summarising HR trends and metrics.
• Ensure compliance with local legal requirements and advise management on necessary actions.
• Oversee new‑hire onboarding to deliver an exceptional first‑day experience.
• Review and file new‑hire documentation in partnership with payroll and legal vendors.
• Administer the Employee Satisfaction Survey and address related employee relations issues.

Required profile

• Several years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a large, multi‑site organisation.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR policy development.
• Proven ability to handle employee relations matters and provide sound legal guidance.
• Excellent analytical skills with a data‑driven approach to problem solving.
• Project‑management experience, capable of coordinating cross‑functional initiatives.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• HR information systems (HRIS) – experience preferred.
• Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
• Familiarity with employee survey tools.
