Senior IT Infrastructure Manager

About the role

The company, a fast‑growing financial‑technology firm, is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Manager to own and evolve its Microsoft cloud and modern workplace environment. Working on‑site in Hammersmith three days a week, you will combine hands‑on technical work with leadership of a small internal team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, deployment and operation of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 services.
• Improve disaster‑recovery processes, business continuity and overall operational resilience.
• Manage day‑to‑day infrastructure operations, including monitoring, backups and security controls.
• Own major incident response and drive continual service improvement.
• Oversee supplier relationships and ensure contractual performance.
• Develop reporting, operational standards and governance for the infrastructure function.
• Champion automation and AI initiatives to increase efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior technical leadership role within Microsoft‑centric environments.
• Ability to balance stakeholder communication with deep technical problem‑solving.
• Track record of delivering resilient, secure cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Hands‑on mindset while managing and developing a small team.
