Senior Management Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Senior Management Accountant (ACA) to own financial control, reporting and technical accounting for a fast‑growing technology services group in London. You will drive the month‑end close, ensure balance‑sheet integrity and act as the in‑house technical accounting reference.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly and year‑end close, producing management accounts that withstand scrutiny.
• Review journals, accruals and postings for compliance with accounting policy and internal controls.
• Own the end‑to‑end group reporting process, delivering performance analysis and insights to senior stakeholders.
• Manage the balance‑sheet review cycle, reconcile items, and maintain a robust internal control framework.
• Serve as the technical accounting lead, documenting treatment for complex, non‑routine transactions and tracking IFRS/GAAP developments.
• Prepare statutory financial statements, coordinate the annual audit and ensure timely filing of all statutory obligations.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA) with several years of experience in financial control and reporting.
• Proven ability to manage month‑end close, balance‑sheet reconciliations and audit processes.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate numbers into actionable business insight.
