Senior Manager – Financial Reporting

About the role
We are seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Reporting to lead the reporting function for a fast‑growing media business in London. Working closely with the Finance Director, you will ensure accurate statutory accounts, robust controls and compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP.
Key responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting processes.
- Prepare and review statutory accounts.
- Manage year‑end audit and liaise with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Drive improvements to reporting processes and internal controls.
- Support strategic business initiatives.
- Lead and develop a small finance team.
- Partner with senior stakeholders across the organisation.
Required profile
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
- Strong financial reporting and technical accounting experience.
- Experience in a medium to large business environment.
- Proven people‑management experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, hands‑on approach.
