Senior Media Engineer / Support & Deployment Specialist

About the role

This 12‑month contract position supports a global leader in entertainment and streaming. You will join the Live Production & Editorial Support team, ensuring editorial and post‑production crews have reliable technology and smooth workflows for high‑profile film, TV and live projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support to editorial and post‑production teams, diagnosing and resolving issues quickly.
• Monitor automated media workflows, file transfers and system health, proactively addressing potential disruptions.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for media ingest, asset management, conform workflows, VFX pulls and related tools.
• Gather feedback from production teams to drive workflow improvements and enhance internal tools.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and regional Production Technology teams to troubleshoot and support platform development.
• Deliver a high‑quality support experience with strong stakeholder management.

Required profile

• 3+ years experience supporting post‑production, media operations or production technology.
• Deep understanding of editorial, dailies, conforms, VFX review and approval processes.
• Hands‑on experience with industry‑standard tools such as Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, Baselight, Colorfront OSD, Autodesk Flow Capture (ShotGrid), PIX and Aspera.
• Comfortable using command‑line tools, APIs and handling data formats like JSON, XML and CSV.
• Familiarity with file standards such as ALE, EDL, MHL/ASC‑MHL and FDL.
