Senior Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The company is seeking a senior multi‑skilled maintenance engineer to join a fast‑paced FMCG manufacturing site in East Anglia. You will work hands‑on to support the engineering team, manage external contractors and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day engineering schedules, external contractor management and site safety standards.
• Execute planned and preventative maintenance, continuous‑improvement modifications and electrical/PLC fault‑finding.
• Work the Panama Days shift pattern at a state‑of‑the‑art processing facility.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 or higher in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in food, beverage or high‑volume FMCG manufacturing.
• Competent with PLC systems, electrical fault‑finding and holding a 17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations qualification.
• Strong autonomous engineering capability with a proactive, self‑motivated approach.
• Commutable within the East Anglia region.
