Senior Private Client Solicitor – Birmingham

About the role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Private Client Solicitor to join its thriving Private Client team in Birmingham. This full‑time position offers the chance to manage a high‑quality caseload and contribute to the department’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied private client portfolio, advising individuals and families on wills, estate planning, probate, and estate administration.
• Provide expertise on lasting powers of attorney, trusts, inheritance tax, succession planning, and wealth preservation.
• Handle Court of Protection matters and lifetime planning issues.
• Support business development, client service excellence, and mentoring of junior team members.

Required profile

• Approximately 6‑7 years post‑qualification experience in private client law.
• Broad experience across all areas of private client work.
• STEP qualification preferred but not essential.
• Excellent technical knowledge, strong commercial awareness, and a proactive, collaborative approach.
