Senior Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join a leading construction consultancy in Birmingham. The role will oversee a robust pipeline of industrial and logistics projects, guiding them from feasibility through to successful hand‑over while working within a collaborative, growing team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects from initial brief and feasibility studies to completion and hand‑over.
• Manage industrial and logistics schemes operating in live environments.
• Coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams to meet programme, budget and quality targets.
• Develop and maintain project programmes, progress reports and key‑stage documentation.
• Chair project meetings, communicate with stakeholders and provide updates to clients and senior management.
• Support procurement, tendering and contractor appointment processes, handling contractor queries.
• Administer NEC and JCT contracts, overseeing commercial, contractual and risk matters.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety and quality standards.
• Build strong client relationships and identify further business development opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering industrial, logistics, warehousing or manufacturing projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of project delivery processes in the industrial and logistics sectors.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in consultancy or client‑side environments.
• Degree qualified in Construction Project Management or a related discipline; MRICS, MAPM or chartership pursuit is a plus.
