Senior Quantity Surveyor - Repairs & Maintenance

About the role

We are partnering with a leading repairs and maintenance contractor in the social housing sector to find a Senior Quantity Surveyor for their Birmingham team. The role focuses on reactive maintenance projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all surveying activities for responsive maintenance projects.
• Manage a team to guarantee timely and cost‑effective delivery.
• Control costs, prepare valuations and produce financial reports.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the social housing sector, preferably with a focus on reactive maintenance.
• Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to motivate a team.
• Excellent commercial awareness of building maintenance processes.
• Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management are desirable.
