Senior Technical Program Manager

About the role

Monzo is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the delivery of new payment products. This high‑impact position blends deep technical understanding with strong leadership to help the company expand its payment offerings across multiple teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end planning and execution of payment product launches that span several disciplines.
• Define program roadmaps, set milestones, prioritize work, and manage trade‑offs and risks.
• Collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Manage dependencies, timelines, and sequencing of delivery across teams.
• Facilitate decision‑making, remove blockers, and accelerate delivery.
• Ensure operational effectiveness within the assigned area.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience managing complex technology programs from concept to launch.
• Excellent communication skills, able to influence executives and diverse audiences.
• Comfortable working in a global, multi‑market environment.
• Proven ability to work with varied personalities and challenge ideas constructively.
• Strong understanding of how product functionality and platform architecture deliver user value.
• Willingness to dive deep into data and architecture to make informed decisions.
