Service Engineer – Air Compressors

About the role

We are seeking a Service Engineer to join a leading manufacturer specialising in compressed air and pneumatic systems. The role involves travelling across the UK to install, service and maintain air compressors, nitrogen generators and related equipment for clients in manufacturing, food & beverage, energy and electronics.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain air compressors, nitrogen generation and filtration systems.
• Service and repair refrigeration units, pipework and related pneumatic equipment.
• Provide on‑call support (one week in seven) and respond to emergency breakdowns.
• Travel to client sites nationwide, covering a door‑to‑door patch.
• Maintain accurate service records and report on job completion.

Required profile

• Experience as a Service Engineer or similar role working with compressed air or pneumatic systems.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
• Ability to work independently and follow health & safety procedures.

• Competitive salary £45,000‑£50,000 per year.
