Service Engineer – Industrial Doors

About the role

The Service Engineer – Industrial Doors will be based in Manchester and will travel across the North West, providing on‑site diagnosis, service and maintenance for industrial automatic doors and entrance systems.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance on automatic door and entrance systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Complete accurate service reports and uphold high workmanship standards.
• Deliver professional customer service while representing the business.
• Work independently, supported by an experienced team, and follow health & safety procedures at all times.

Required profile

• Extensive experience with industrial automatic doors, roller doors, barriers and gates.
• Strong fault‑finding and repair abilities.
• Experience servicing automatic entrance systems.
• High attention to detail and IT literacy (Microsoft Office).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Motivated, highly organised and a team player.
