Service Engineer (Water Treatment)

About the role

We are seeking a Service Engineer with experience in water treatment to join a leading provider serving NHS and food‑and‑beverage customers across the Midlands. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance of water treatment equipment, with opportunities to upsell parts and earn commission.

Key responsibilities

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on water treatment systems (approximately 70% of time).
• Carry out reactive maintenance tasks (approximately 30%).
• Travel to client sites across the Midlands, covering a patch within roughly two hours of your home.
• Identify and recommend spare parts or upgrades to customers, earning commission on sales.
• Participate in optional overtime, on‑call duties, and bonus schemes.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer, or similar role in water treatment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to work a regional patch and travel regularly.
