Site Operative – Summers Lane

About the role

LondonEnergy is looking for a reliable Site Operative to join the Summers Lane site in North London. You will be the first point of contact for the public, ensuring waste is received, sorted and disposed of safely while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consistent, high‑level customer service in line with company standards and contract requirements.
• Assist the public where safe, oversee sorting and safe disposal of waste and recycling.
• Advise on correct segregation of waste into appropriate containers or storage areas.
• Monitor and direct traffic movements within the facility.
• Maintain housekeeping of site grounds, buildings and staff facilities.
• Operate the site according to current policies and procedures.
• Carry out additional duties of a similar level across designated sites as required.

Required profile

• Reliable and punctual.
• Team‑oriented with a flexible approach to learning other site roles.
• Willingness to undergo training and learn operational procedures.
• Ability to work shift patterns, including some weekends.
• Experience in a public‑facing role; similar experience is desirable.
