Solution Engineer – Air Systems (UK Defence)

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking a Solution Engineer to support its Air portfolio, focusing on Group 3 UAS and larger air vehicles, including crewed combat aircraft. You will work directly with UK and European defence customers to ensure our autonomous‑systems solutions are adopted effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Air Systems and Partnerships Leads with pre‑sales activities.
• Serve as the technical liaison between defence customers and Applied Intuition’s engineering and product teams.
• Guide end‑users through solution adoption, including architecture reviews, demos, and early‑stage deployments.
• Help customers integrate the code‑first developer toolchain and SDK into their existing infrastructure.

Required profile

• UK Security Clearance.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the air domain, preferably with defence or aerospace projects.
• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong execution mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple customer engagements.

Required skills

• Programming in C/C++.
• Programming in Python.
