Solution Engineer – Land Systems

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking a Solution Engineer to support its Land portfolio for defence customers in the UK and Europe. The role bridges technical teams and uniformed or civilian clients, helping them adopt autonomous vehicle technologies and integrate them with existing infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Support Land Systems and Partnerships leads during pre‑sales activities.
• Act as the technical liaison between defence customers and Applied Intuition’s engineering and product teams.
• Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, demos and early‑stage deployments.
• Assist customers in adopting Applied’s code‑first developer toolchain and onboarding engineering teams onto the SDK.
• Integrate Applied solutions with customers’ existing infrastructure and support end‑user adoption.

Required profile

• UK Security Clearance.
• 3+ years of experience in the Land domain, preferably within defence.
• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Programming in C/C++ (basic to intermediate).
• Programming in Python (basic to intermediate).
• Experience with simulation environments or digital‑twin platforms.
• Exposure to perception systems or AI/ML pipelines for in‑vehicle applications.
