Stockkeeper

About the role

The Stockkeeper is a vital member of Air Canada’s Maintenance department, supporting operations at London Heathrow and across the European network. Reporting to the Maintenance Logistics Manager, you will ensure aeronautical parts and tooling are accurately managed, shipped, and received.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily auditing, shipping, receiving, inspection, issuing, order processing, and unserviceable processing of inventory.
• Update the internal ERP system with all inventory movements.
• Prepare and ship part orders to outlying bases and coordinate AOG deliveries, including after‑hours customs clearance.
• Handle and ship dangerous goods in compliance with IATA DGR and Canadian Transportation of Goods Act.
• Monitor inventory levels, temperature, and humidity; liaise with Supply Chain in Canada for replenishment.
• Maintain housekeeping and health‑safety standards, including PPE usage and heavy‑lifting tasks.

Required profile

• Valid full (manual) UK driver’s licence.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience.
• Right to work unrestricted in the United Kingdom.
• Ability to travel unrestricted within the UK or abroad for AOG support.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP inventory systems.
• Knowledge of customs documentation and regulations.
• Dangerous goods classification, packaging, labeling, and shipping (DG shipper qualification).
• Forklift operation (license is an asset).
• Inventory management and basic computer/data‑entry skills.
