Store Manager – Express (Retail)

About the role

As a Store Manager for an Asda Express location you will be responsible for leading a small‑format store or petrol filling station, ensuring a friendly environment for both colleagues and customers. You will drive sales, maintain high standards and oversee all operational aspects of the store.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and motivate a team to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Create and sustain a positive store culture.
• Drive sales performance and achieve commercial targets.
• Manage cost control, stock handling, pricing strategy and profit drivers.
• Ensure safety, compliance and all forecourt/PFS requirements are met.
• Oversee day‑to‑day people management, including recruitment, training and performance reviews.
