Store Manager – Retail Operations Leader

About the role

As the Store Manager you will lead the day‑to‑day operations of our supermarket in Bordesley Green, ensuring the shop runs efficiently, safely and profitably. You will drive strategy into action, coach your team and create a culture where customers feel valued and staff feel motivated.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute operational strategies across all departments.
• Maximise product availability while minimising waste and shrink.
• Maintain high standards of store presentation, health & safety and compliance.
• Lead, coach and develop the leadership team and front‑line staff.
• Drive commercial performance through KPI monitoring and POS execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a large retail or supermarket environment.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to translate strategy into results.
• Resilient, results‑focused and able to hold the team accountable.
• Excellent communication and people‑leadership skills.
