Store Manager – Retail – £33k + Bonus

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead a brand‑new, high‑traffic retail store in Manchester. You will be the hands‑on leader who drives sales, ensures excellent customer service and maintains top‑class store standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a retail team to meet sales targets and deliver outstanding service.
• Work alongside staff on the shop floor, creating a positive and high‑performance environment.
• Oversee all store operations, including stock control, visual merchandising, compliance and health & safety.
• Drive commercial performance through KPI management and sales analysis.
• Recruit, train, coach and retain team members to maximise performance.
• Maintain excellent retail standards across presentation and customer experience.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager or senior retail leader.
• Proven ability to manage a fast‑paced retail environment with a hands‑on leadership style.
• Strong people manager who leads by example and enjoys developing teams.
• Commercially focused with a track record of meeting sales targets and KPIs.
• Passionate about retail, customer service and creating memorable experiences.
