Store Manager – Retail (St Albans)

About the role

Reiss is seeking an experienced Store Manager for its St Albans location. You will lead the store to achieve sales targets, ensure operational excellence, and deliver an elevated customer experience in a fast‑paced, premium fashion environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute long‑term store goals aligned with company objectives.
• Oversee overall store operations, performance metrics and commercial results.
• Lead and motivate the team to provide personalised, high‑quality customer service.
• Manage stock levels, control loss and make key inventory decisions.
• Implement promotions, sales initiatives and merchandising standards.
• Recruit, retain and develop talent, conducting regular performance and probation reviews.

Required profile

• Previous retail management experience in a comparable store size.
• Proven track record of improving business performance and driving sales.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service through your team.
• Strong visual sense with commercial product‑management expertise.
• Comfortable balancing customer service, operational, technical and visual duties.
• Resilient under pressure and thriving in a fast‑paced retail setting.
• Effective people manager with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
