Structured Rates Trader – London

About the role

This permanent position is with a leading global financial services firm expanding its FX & Interest Rates business. Based in central London, you will report directly to the Head of Trading and play a pivotal role in building the firm’s global rates platform.

Key responsibilities

• Structure and trade corporate interest‑rate hedging solutions across swaps, caps, floors and vanilla rates.
• Develop and manage bespoke structured rates products such as CMS‑linked structures, range accruals, steepeners and other custom solutions.
• Collaborate closely with sales teams and institutional clients to deliver tailored solutions.
• Contribute to product strategy, pricing and business growth initiatives.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience in structured rates trading or structuring.
• Strong knowledge of interest‑rate derivatives and structured products.
• Commercial mindset with an entrepreneurial approach.
• Experience in rates is essential; FX exposure is a plus but not mandatory.
