Supplier Lead – Supply Chain

About the role

Moog is looking for a Supplier Lead to act as the primary point of contact for assigned suppliers, ensuring strong collaboration and communication across its sites. The role combines supplier surveillance, performance management and risk mitigation to drive quality, cost, delivery and lead‑time improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage effective supplier relationships to achieve business requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned suppliers, ensuring strong collaboration.
• Conduct surveillance and monitoring activities for assigned suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier performance and identify, assess, and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Manage purchase orders to maintain accurate delivery information.
• Drive timely closure of root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Expedite supplier deliveries to support site operational requirements.
• Lead problem‑solving activities to resolve issues impacting supplier relationships.
• Support and lead supplier recovery and performance improvement initiatives.
• Provide regional support for supplier selection, development and New Product Introduction.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for improvements in quality, cost, delivery and lead time.
• Travel regularly to supplier locations within the region and occasionally to Moog sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or a related discipline.
• Up to 5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, engineering or supply chain environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Working knowledge of procurement processes, contractual requirements and supply chain operations.
• Experience managing supplier performance and supporting supplier development activities.
• Effective communication and relationship‑management skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines.
• Willingness to travel extensively, including regular supplier visits.
