About the role
Join Hays Education Birmingham as a Supply Teacher for Early Career Teachers (ECT) starting in September. This flexible, temporary position lets you work across a range of primary schools in the West Midlands, with no minimum number of days required.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver primary curriculum lessons in partner schools on a day‑to‑day basis.
- Adapt quickly to different school environments, class sizes and student needs.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster a supportive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents and colleagues to ensure student progress.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Recent, relevant classroom experience that can be referenced.
- Approachable, patient and able to thrive in new settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
