Systems Software Engineer – A400M Support

About the role

Join Airbus at RAF Brize Norton as part of the A400M Line Maintenance team, supporting a fleet of 22 aircraft worldwide. You will work with the Ground Support Systems (GSS) team to analyse data, implement new tools, and improve investigations, training, and service performance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of data within GSD software and provide assurance to CAMO for continued airworthiness.
• Provide technical support during coordination meetings with national and OCCAR stakeholders.
• Support migration plans for new software versions, including non‑regression testing and validation of new functionalities.
• Identify and document new requirements from training, safety investigations, and gap analyses.
• Perform reference data audits, upload information to MDS, and respond to Q‑Pulse investigations.
• Liaise with Part‑M, P145, and CAMO teams to manage airworthiness impacts.

Required profile

• Proficiency with IT tools such as Excel, Access, XML, SQL and PL/SQL.
• Knowledge of software engineering processes and development practices.
• Ability to work effectively with multinational teams and complex organisational environments.
