Tax Manager

About the role

Fanatics Commerce is seeking a hands‑on Tax Manager to join its high‑performing Tax & Treasury team. Reporting to the Head of Tax & Treasury, you will own the monthly VAT compliance cycle across multiple jurisdictions and support broader tax compliance for the international business.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end monthly VAT compliance for 20+ registrations in the UK, EU and other markets, including preparation, review and filing of returns.
• Maintain and reconcile VAT ledger positions, ensuring accurate balances and audit trails.
• Manage relationships with third‑party compliance agents to guarantee timely filings.
• Prepare VAT payment schedules and communicate cash‑flow implications to Treasury.
• Track VAT registration portfolio, filing frequencies and deadlines as the business expands.
• Assist with VAT technical issues such as supply classification, cross‑border place‑of‑supply questions and audit responses.
• Coordinate corporation tax compliance across UK and international entities, gathering information for external advisers.
• Prepare supporting schedules for UK corporation tax returns, including capital allowances, R&D analysis and intercompany transaction summaries.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in VAT and indirect tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Familiarity with corporation tax compliance and coordination with external advisers.
• Ability to manage relationships with third‑party agents and internal stakeholders.
