About the role
We are seeking a passionate Teacher of Humanities to join a forward‑thinking secondary school in Bradford this September. The role involves delivering engaging lessons across History, Geography and RE for KS3 and KS4 students, fostering critical thinking and curiosity about global issues.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver thought‑provoking Humanities lessons for a range of abilities.
- Encourage discussion, analysis and critical thinking on historical, cultural and global topics.
- Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
- Create a respectful, open‑minded classroom environment.
- Contribute to enrichment activities and cross‑curricular projects.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Humanities or a related subject such as History, Geography or Politics.
- Experience teaching Humanities at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management and communication abilities.
- Genuine passion for helping students understand the world.
