Teaching Assistant – Early Years (EYFS) – Full‑time

About the role

Reeson Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant EYFS setting within a mainstream primary school in Manchester (M11). The role is full‑time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 3:30 pm, supporting children in nursery or reception from September 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the EYFS team in delivering high‑quality learning experiences for early years children.
• Support early communication, literacy, numeracy and play‑based activities.
• Create a nurturing, safe and stimulating classroom environment.
• Promote children’s social and emotional development and independence.
• Collaborate with teachers to meet individual pupil needs and monitor progress.
• Maintain health and safety standards and support daily routines and transitions.

Required profile

• Experience working in EYFS within a mainstream primary school (essential).
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred).
• Passion for early years education and child development.
• Friendly, patient and supportive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Full‑time DBS on the update service or willingness to apply.
