About the role
We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in the Wembley area. You will work closely with teachers to support KS1 pupils, delivering one‑to‑one and small‑group sessions that build confidence and curiosity.
Key responsibilities
- Guide young learners in both individual and small‑group settings.
- Run a dedicated nurture group for SEN pupils, providing a calm and inclusive environment.
- Assist teachers in creating a safe, supportive classroom where every child feels seen.
- Uphold the school’s values of fairness, compassion, and community.
Required profile
- Patient, resilient and kind with a genuine love for working with children.
- Enjoy teamwork and demonstrate reliability and purpose in daily work.
- Experience supporting primary‑aged children; NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Teaching Assistance is a plus.
- Eagerness to continue learning and developing professionally.
