Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools

About the role

Nurture Education is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support primary school classrooms across London. You will work alongside teachers to help deliver engaging lessons and foster an inclusive learning environment for all pupils.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and preparing learning resources.
• Work with individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Support pupils with diverse needs, including SEND, to promote confidence and independence.
• Encourage positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, nurturing classroom atmosphere.
• Participate in the wider life of the school, supporting academic, social and emotional development.

Required profile

• Passion for supporting children’s education and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, caring and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
