Teaching Assistant – Year 3 (Full‑time Temporary)

About the role
Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a Year 3 class in a well‑rated primary school in West London. The role is full‑time, term‑time only, and runs until the end of the academic year with the possibility of extension or a permanent offer based on performance.
Key responsibilities
- Support the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group assistance to pupils.
- Supervise children during break times, assemblies and trips.
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist with record‑keeping and administrative tasks as required.
Required profile
- Minimum of one year teaching assistant experience in a UK primary school.
- Current safeguarding training completed within the last year.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) with online update service.
- Two professional references covering the last two years.
