Team Leader – Pre Litigated Motor Claims

About the role

Keoghs are seeking a Team Leader to join the Pre Litigated Motor Team in Liverpool. The role involves managing and supporting a team of Pre Litigated Motor claims handlers while also handling a small caseload of complex motor claims.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve the team’s targets and operational measures.
• Deliver a quality client‑service compliant service.
• Review, allocate and approve new claims based on value and complexity.
• Identify training needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Hold regular 1‑2‑1s with staff to maximise performance.
• Assist the Client Service Team with analysis and statistics.
• Report directly to the Head of Operations and support other Team Leaders.
• Manage a small caseload (approximately 50) of complex motor claims.

Required profile

• Highly developed knowledge of processes, systems and procedures.
• Strong technical knowledge of motor claims.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent understanding of client protocols and communication skills.
• Ability to influence, negotiate and maintain business relationships.
• Excellent organisational skills with commercial awareness of the market.
• Passion for the business and willingness to support development strategies.
